We are seeking individuals with professional experience and a passion for:
- Troubleshooting and performance tuning RDBMS applications (Oracle 9i+, SQL Server 2005+).
- Designing and implementing ETL processes (Cognos, SQL Server Integration Services and/or Informatica).
- Developing, implementing and sustaining database and/or data warehouse applications of varying complexity.
- Developing in all aspects of SQL (stored procedures, functions, triggers, etc.) using either T-SQL and/or PL/SQL.
- Designing and writing ad hoc and canned reports using tools such as MS SQL Server Reporting Services, Business Objects and/or Crystal Reports.
- Performing analytics using tools such as MS SQL Server Analysis Services.
- Building flexible and scalable OLTP and data warehouse systems.
- Following established best practices for data and data warehousing solutions.
- Communicating with end users and technical team members to flesh out and clarify business requirements.
- Working with systems of varying levels of complexity, in a variety of diverse industry verticals and client-facing environments.
- Contributing to projects both independently and collaboratively as part of a team setting.
- Exploring new and emerging technologies such as Cloud, Big Data, Data Mining and NoSQL.
