Powervision's focus is on developing comprehensive, world-class EDM software with unparalleled ease of use. With the addition of specialized hardware and services, the company provides its customers with real EDM solutions to real business problems.
Powervision wanted to build a new ASP.NET extension to its document management system. Originally built in Sybase PowerBuilder®, Powervision recognized the advantages that .NET could offer—such as easier deployment, maintenance and incorporation of new features. Powervision engaged Quadrus to provide architectural guidance, vetting of design ideas and overall mentoring services in this transition to ASP.NET. Although Powervision has an experienced development staff, it required some effective hands-on .NET mentoring to speed up the learning curve and help design a solid .NET infrastructure.
Quadrus mentors have years of experience using and building .NET applications in the industry. With Quadrus mentoring, the Powervision development staff was able to gain valuable .NET knowledge and apply it immediately while receiving the guidance, support and direction it required along the way.
