Technology selection is a key part of any custom development initiative.
In some cases technology selection is straightforward—perhaps the client's organization or current infrastructure dictates obvious choices. In other cases it may be appropriate to further explore the pros and cons of various technology selections—to evaluate, select and implement the best technologies – commercial packages or open source – for the situation at hand. We leverage our hands-on experience with development frameworks such as .NET and J2EE, databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL and DB2, integration tools such as Tibco, SeeBeyond and BizTalk, and architectural patterns such as service oriented architectures, smart clients and n-tiered solutions.
