Who We Are - CareersIT Coach and Mentor Quadrus currently has an exciting opportunity for an energetic and dynamic IT coach and mentor; successful candidates will possess the following skills: Who we're looking for... - A project leader or trainer with a passion for mentoring and coaching IT professionals on real projects utilizing contemporary IT methodologies and techniques such as Agile and Test Driven Development.
- An enthusiastic leader who thoroughly enjoys teaching and conveying ideas and concepts in a classroom setting.
What will you be doing? - Work closely with our clients to mentor and coaching them on leading edge software development practices and processes.
- Provide both classroom based instruction and hands-on coaching relating your real-world experience.
- Create and develop proprietary courseware for classroom based instruction in the areas of Project Management, Business Analysis, Requirements Gathering etc.
Skills you possess... - Experience with hands on leadership, mentoring, or training in any of the following disciplines;
- Agile Software Development
- Project Management
- Requirements and Business Analysis
- Test Driven Development
- Object Oriented Analysis and Design
- .Net development
- Practical experience in the various stages of the software development life cycle, namely, definition of solution architecture, detailed design, solution development, data modeling, testing and deployment.
- Knowledge and practical application of software development processes and techniques (e.g., Agile, RUP, XP, Test Driven Development, continuous integration etc.).
- Superior oral and written communication skills combined with strong leadership abilities.
- A university degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Open to occasional travel for assignments outside of Calgary.
