Senior Account Executive

Quadrus Development Inc. is a recognized leader in information technology professional services, headquartered in Calgary, Canada, and focused on custom software development & integration, strategic IT consulting & advisory services and training services. Quadrus is searching for a peak-performing senior sales leader and account executive to help aggressively grow revenue, primarily in the Calgary marketplace. Compensation and job title will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications. This is a new fulltime position, reporting to our Vice President of Business Development, with excellent opportunities for professional growth.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Strengthen relationships with key clients, identify new client opportunities, and manage accounts to build successful and profitable relationships
  • Drive to exceed revenue targets within the Calgary and Western Canadian marketplace
  • Develop sales strategies and advise executive management on market opportunities, sales positioning, use of resources and tactical planning
  • Work within Quadrus’ consultative sales approach, and in conjunction with technical teams, to understand the customer's business issues and match solutions to address the customer's needs (including responding verbally and/or in writing to RFPs and other information requests)
  • Close business including conducting contract negotiations
  • Work with Quadrus technical, marketing and business development teams to deliver campaigns successfully

Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of significant sales experience, with comprehensive knowledge of consulting services and the software development industry
  • Proven experience successfully building and growing sales revenue, ideally in senior sales or business development roles
  • Proven history as a critical thinker and self-starter with the ability to work independently to successfully grow and foster client relationships
  • Existing relationships and networks within the Calgary marketplace within a variety of business domains, including regional and/or global brand-level clientele
  • An entrepreneurial attitude, advanced negotiating skills and experience addressing business, corporate, contracting and account management matters at a senior level
  • A team player with a positive and dynamic personality, excellent listening, written and verbal communication and presentation skills, and strong planning and organizational capabilities
  • An operational focus with a results-driven, get-things-done attitude
  • Relevant university degree(s)
