WHO WE ARE - Leadership
Brian Donaldson is Executive Technical Director of Quadrus Development Inc. Brian co-founded Quadrus in 1993 and continues his active role as a senior member of the Quadrus leadership team and as a key strategic advisor to select Quadrus clients.  

Brian brings to his role a 20-year track record of success as an IT industry leader and an uncommonly wide breadth of skills and experiences. Brian began his career 20 years ago as a technical software architect, then moved into project management, and then progressed to overall program planning, IT business strategy and executive management. This unusual breadth of experience affords Brian a unique insight into the IT business and has helped him to amass a strong track record of building and leading highly effective teams and directing mission-critical technology initiatives. With Brian's leadership, Quadrus has delivered hundreds of successful IT solutions to real business problems on-time and budget, and has won several global awards for the quality, innovation and successful delivery of our solutions, including Microsoft’s worldwide award for global Solution of the Year and the MEC award for Solution of the Year.

Brian has served as a member of Microsoft’s Partner Advisory Council and as a Regional Director for the Microsoft Developers Network. He has also worked with many other IT industry leaders including Sun, Oracle, IBM, Sybase, Business Objects and the Agile Alliance. He has been a speaker at industry events and published articles in leading technical journals including the IEEE.

Brian holds a B.Sc. (honours) degree in digital system design from Simon Fraser University and a Masters degree in computer and electrical engineering from the University of Calgary. His hobbies include skiing, mountain biking and power yoga.
