Ron Matyjanka is a Senior Technical Director at Quadrus Development Inc., with particular leadership responsibilities in the areas of Architecture and Integration.  

Ron brings to his role 20 years of experience as a leader in IT business and technology planning, security, databases and application & system design, including multi-tier architectures, distributed systems, and OOA&D/UML. Ron is also a recognized expert in integration, including data-level integration (ETL, portals, dashboards, etc.), service-level integration (Service Oriented Architecture, Enterprise Service Bus, Straight-through Processing, etc.) and process-level integration (Business Process Mapping, Workflow, BAM, etc.). Ron has extensive hands-on experience with a huge array of technologies, tools and platforms from leading vendors such as Microsoft, Sun, Tibco, Oracle, and IBM, as well as open source and custom-built solutions. He also has significant domain experience working in areas such as: oil & gas, power, telecommunications, financial services, internet commerce and emerging technology.     

Ron is one of Quadrus’ longest-serving members; he joined our team in 1994, shortly after Quadrus was formed, and has played a key leadership role in Quadrus and the broader IT community ever since. Ron serves as a key advisor to our valued clients, mentors our own members in some of the most technically demanding areas of Information Technology, and is a frequent presenter at industry events.  

Ron holds a B.Sc. (with distinction) degree in computer science from the University of Victoria and a host of professional certifications. When not engrossed in technical endeavors, Ron enjoys snowmobiling, motorcycling and mountain biking.
