QUADRUS MEMBER ACCEPTS MICROSOFT DEVELOPER NETWORK REGIONAL DIRECTOR POSITION

CALGARY, Alta., April 15, 2004 – John Bristowe, Systems Analyst for Calgary-based IT services and solutions provider Quadrus Development Inc., officially accepted the position of Microsoft Developer Network Regional Director for Alberta today. In so doing, John will act as a liaison between Microsoft and the local development community. This is a highly regarded appointment with approximately 140 Directors worldwide and John's appointment marks the fourth time that a Quadrus member has held the position of Regional Director.

"We're extremely pleased that John has accepted the role as Regional Director of the Microsoft Developer Network for Alberta," says Bill Evelyn, Partner Account Manager, Microsoft Canada Co. "His knowledge and experience working with a wide range of Microsoft technologies and involvement in the IT user group and online community make this directorship a logical and natural fit. Microsoft is confident that both John's and Quadrus' experience and expertise will have an important influence on the direction of future Microsoft technologies and enhance our ability to communicate with the development community."

Regional Directors are developers, trainers and consultants who serve as leaders in their communities, speak at conferences, lead training sessions and author books, articles and white papers. These Directors serve on a volunteer basis, teaming up with Microsoft's Developer Division to help the company better respond to developers' needs. Industry events provide Regional Directors with another avenue to share their experience and help community developers gain greater understanding of Microsoft technologies.

"The MSDN Regional Director position offers Quadrus and myself an additional opportunity to serve the local IT community," says John. "I'm pleased and honoured to act as a liaison between Microsoft and local developers, while further facilitating the communication and information exchange between these two groups. New innovations and developments continue to evolve and I am truly excited and eager to be playing an active role in their fruition."
