QUADRUS MEMBER WINS PMI AWARD FOR DISTINGUISHED CONTRIBUTION BY AN INDIVIDUAL
About the Award:
The Southern Alberta Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Awards Program was created to recognize the exceptional performance of project management practitioners and organizations served by the Chapter. The award for Distinguished Contribution by an Individual recognizes sustained long-term service and commitment to project management methodology and best practices. It is awarded to an individual who has demonstrated significant, sustained and exceptional contribution to the advancement of the project management profession and PMI.
About the Award Winner:
Congratulations to Mike Griffiths for receiving the PMI award for Distinguished Contribution by an Individual! It is Mike's breadth and depth of knowledge, experience, passion and commitment to the project management discipline and the project management community that make him a deserving winner of this award. Mike is a full-time project manager and trainer at Quadrus Development Inc. He specializes in applying agile principles alongside traditional approaches on everyday projects. He holds both the Project Management Professional (PMP) and PRINCE2 project management certifications, along with ScrumMaster and DSDM Practitioner agile certifications. Before joining Quadrus in 2001, Mike worked for IBM Global Services, England and in 1994 was involved in the development of the agile methodology DSDM. Since then Mike has continued to be active in the agile community and has authored numerous white papers and parts of the DSDM 4.2 manual.
