Prerequisites:

Participants have a basic understanding of Scrum and have read the Scrum Guide.

Learning Objectives & Approach:

Through a combination of lecture and team-based activities, students gain real-life, hands-on experience as they explore the framework and principles of Scrum, discover the key skills and attributes of effective Scrum Masters, and learn best-practice techniques for working effectively with people, teams, and organizations.

Upon course completion, attendees will be able to demonstrate a fundamental level of Scrum mastery and understand how to be an effective servant-leader within an overall Scrum team.

Certification Process:

All participants completing the PSM course will receive a password to attempt the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) assessment. Successful writers will receive PSM I certification, use of the PSM I logo, and have their name posted publicly on Scrum.org.
