Prerequisites:

Participants have a basic understanding of Scrum and have read the Scrum Guide.

Learning Objectives & Approach:

Through a combination of lecture and hands-on team-based activities, participants will learn about the theory and practice of Scrum and be introduced to advanced tools for effective servant-leadership. Students are challenged to think on their feet to ensure that Scrum is understood and well implemented by the team.

Upon course completion, attendees will be well-prepared to take the online certification exam.

Certification Process:

All participants completing the PSM course will receive a password to attempt the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) assessment. Successful writers will receive PSM I certification, use of the PSM I logo, and have their name posted publicly on Scrum.org.
